a green building doesn't just mean slapping on a green roof, waterless urinals, or collective solar panels. A sustainable green building can be the epi-center of a social condition that reuses an existing building for a new purpose. It can be a place to people to converse and exchanges ideas about our past, present and future. Overall, a sustainable building is a place that advocated sustainable practices from the teachings it is founded on to the basic concepts of design.

the Musee du Quai Branly is a building that express the ideology of green architecture through a transparency of vernacular aesthetics. The green wall articulates the idea of green parameter, but it also insinuates that a building can emerge from the surface and provide a new shelter.
